Audubon Sanctuary Kayak Trips
One of the best ways to explore the Audubon Sanctuary is by water. During the spring and summer, you can join a kayak trip through the marshes of the Sanctuary, and learn about the natural history of this breathtaking landscape. Miles of secluded water trails make this arguably the most intricate marsh maze on the Outer Banks.
Coastal Kayak offers tours from April through September.
The tour starts with a walk down a marshland trail to the boat dock. From here, your guide will lead you through Currituck Sound and a maze of islands where you may view wildlife that lives in this hidden wonderland. The 2.5-hour tours run daily in season.
Please contact Coastal Kayak, the exclusive provider of kayak tours in the Audubon Sanctuary, to make your reservation at 252-441-3393 or visit their website to register.
