Sign-Up for a Kayak Trip - Enjoy the extensive marsh complex with a tour launching from the Sanctuary dock. Learn more about this great way to explore these maritime habitats.
Take a Hike Along our Nature Trail - Explore the maritime forest and marsh along our 3-mile nature trail. You may access the north end of the trail behind the Pine Island Racquet and Fitness Club or the south end of the trail at the Currituck/Dare County line near the Sanderling Resort. There are two observation platforms on the trail that overlook the vast marshes along the Currituck Sound.
